They will bring expert knowledge of ESRI technologies - particularly ArcGIS Pro - and the ability to leverage cartographic design, geospatial analysis, and workflow automation to add significant value to analytical reporting. They will be responsible for guiding and developing a team of GIS Analysts, conducting performance appraisals, and maintaining consistently high output standards. The role requires hands-on capability in GIS development, including building and maintaining Python scripts, automating workflows, and managing geospatial databases. Candidates should also have experience developing and updating ESRI Web Apps for both internal teams and external clients. The ability to engage with research and analysis teams - providing advice, training, and practical GIS support - is a core element of the position. Candidates must have a genuine interest in geopolitical intelligence and the role that geospatial data and mapping play in understanding complex security and geo-political topics.
