Your first assignment In your first assignment, you will own the queries, stored procedures, views, and logical data models for your assigned part of a federal agency's enterprise data platform. You will build and maintain these components in Amazon Aurora and the platform stores alongside it, taking responsibility for their accuracy and performance. You will make database-design decisions within the established platform architecture and carry your work through implementation and ongoing maintenance. The work is real and hard, and it matters. What you'll build * Reliable Structured Query Language (SQL) queries, stored procedures, and views in Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL-compatible) that work with DynamoDB, Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), and Apache Iceberg tables and turn raw data into something people can use. * Logical data models and database schemas for your assigned components, designed to keep the relational and platform stores working together within the established platform architecture. * Tuned queries, S3 data loads into the platform stores, and connectivity, all under governed access. * And over time, the firm itself, through the new capabilities, tools, and lines of business you help launch.
