## About the Role

Do you have experience in Windows?, The successful candidate will have:

 * Previous experience in an IT support role, ideally within a school or educational environment.
 * Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
 * Experience supporting hardware, software, printers, and network devices.
 * Knowledge of Active Directory, user account administration, and basic networking principles.
 * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
 * Strong communication and customer service abilities.
 * The ability to manage workloads effectively and work independently across multiple sites.
 * A proactive and flexible approach to work.

Desirable

 * Experience supporting educational technology and classroom devices essential
 * Knowledge of safeguarding requirements within schools.
 * Relevant IT qualifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent.

## Description

The IT Support Assistant will provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students, ensuring all IT systems, hardware, software, and classroom technologies operate effectively., * Provide first and second-line IT support to teaching and support staff.

 * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
 * Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, interactive screens, and other IT equipment.
 * Support Microsoft 365 applications, user accounts, and permissions.
 * Assist with the management of Active Directory and network infrastructure.
 * Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
 * Support classroom technology and AV equipment.
 * Assist with IT asset management, device deployment, and inventory control.
 * Ensure IT systems remain secure and compliant with school policies.
 * Provide excellent customer service to staff and students.
