## About the Role

* Solid foundational knowledge of data modeling concepts and modern data warehousing architectures
 * Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating complex datasets
 * Hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaborative development
 * Practical exposure to or understanding of working within cloud environments (such as Azure or AWS)
 * Eagerness to learn new ETL/ELT tools, cloud technologies, and software engineering practices
 * Foundational understanding of a typical GenAI stack (LLMs, Vector Databases, frameworks like LangChain)

Strong problem-solving attitude and an enthusiastic, proactive approach to learning

 * Ability to work both independently on delegated tasks and collaboratively within agile project teams
 * A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
 * Articulate with impeccable verbal and written communication skills in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level). Strong & discerning listener

## Description

* You will support the team in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines according to client business needs and embedding them end-to-end into the given data stack
 * On this role, you will assist in maintaining and optimizing data infrastructure required for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from a wide variety of data sources
 * As a junior Data Engineer, you will build, test, and deploy data artifacts on cloud platforms using modern version control best practices
 * You will collaborate with senior engineers to ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance by applying data quality assurance methods
 * Monitoring data pipeline performance and assisting in identifying opportunities for pipeline optimization
 * In this role, you will work closely together with both reeeliance and client staff as part of an agile project team
