## About the Role

* Hands-on Java development expertise, including building and consuming RESTful APIs using Spring or comparable frameworks.
 * Practical experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, SQL, and MongoDB.
 * Cloud platform experience using OpenShift and Kubernetes, with working knowledge of build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
 * Experience with messaging systems including Apache Kafka and IBM MQ for event-driven application architecture.
 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling, including Jenkins and Grafana.
 * Solid grasp of software development lifecycle principles and Agile delivery practices.
 * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing shifting priorities and delivering under tight timelines., * 6+ years of experience in applications development or systems analysis, with a track record of delivering complex software projects.
 * Subject matter expertise in at least one core area of applications development, such as backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, or API design.
 * Demonstrated ability to lead project delivery end-to-end, from planning through implementation.
 * Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
 * Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for varied audiences.

 * Mentor and coach mid-level developers and analysts, providing technical direction and distributing work effectively across the team.
