## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related discipline and 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent education/professional experience.
 * Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
 * Strong background integrating containerized components within Kubernetes orchestration environments.
 * Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.
 * Hands-on experience with packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.
 * Experience with Bash and/or Python and Linux
 * Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; this position will require a government security clearance

Desired Skills

 * Experience with C++ and Java software development
 * Analytical mindset, with ability to interpret large amounts of data and present data in a meaningful way
 * Self motivated with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignments
 * Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines
 * Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of technical and interpersonal competency
