## About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer (EIT Tech) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise Python development, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and data platforms and a proven ability to deliver stable, scalable automation solutions for the EIT Core Automation Platform (ECAP)., * Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications.

 * Hands-on Python development experience.
 * Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
 * Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
 * Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data platforms such as Starburst/Trino.
 * Experience with OpenShift, Redis, and object storage technologies.
 * Experience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
 * Experience working in Agile teams and supporting production environments.
 * Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

 * Experience supporting platform modernization, migration, and integration initiatives.
 * Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies.
 * Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive solutions from concept to implementation.

## Description

* Design, develop, test, and support enterprise-scale applications for ECAP.
 * Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
 * Build and consume REST APIs and integrate event-driven services using Kafka.
 * Develop data access patterns using strong SQL skills on large-scale platforms such as Starburst/Trino.
 * Engineer and operate solutions on OpenShift with Redis and object storage.
 * Apply Git-based workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
 * Support Agile team delivery and production operations with effective troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
 * Contribute to platform stability, modernization, and migration initiatives aligned to the ECAP roadmap.
