## Description

Laitram is seeking an AI Software Engineering Associate for a four-month, hands-on contract position. In this role, you will design, build, and deliver a working AI-powered software prototype from concept through implementation.
This is a hands-on software engineering project to spearhead a project from start to finish - not one small part of one. You will design, build, and ship a working AI-powered software prototype end-to-end. The specifics of the project will be scoped and assigned at the start of the contract.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements, * Design, develop, test, and deliver a functional AI-powered software prototype.

 * Build and integrate the application's back end, APIs, and user interface.
 * Integrate AI and large language model (LLM) capabilities into a practical application.
 * Translate a real-world business process or challenge into clear technical and product requirements.
 * Prioritize features and make practical design decisions to deliver an end-to-end solution within the internship period.
 * Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather feedback and refine the solution.
 * Document the application, key technical decisions, and recommendations for potential future development.
 * Communicate progress, challenges, and results clearly to project stakeholders.
