Your primary focus will be configuring and optimizing F5 policies, virtual servers, pools, iRules, local traffic policies (LTM), global traffic management (GTM), and Application Security Manager (ASM) policies. You will work directly with F5 platforms to ensure high availability, load balancing, SSL/TLS offloading, and application security for mission-critical systems. This role demands deep technical expertise in F5 configuration and troubleshooting. You will create and maintain F5 objects including virtual servers, pool members, health monitors, persistence profiles, SSL profiles, and traffic management policies. Experience writing and optimizing iRules and local traffic policies is essential. You will also configure security policies including Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules, bot defense, and DDoS protection within the F5 ecosystem. Working within a federal agency environment, you will ensure all configurations meet compliance requirements and security standards. You should be comfortable working in the F5 CLI, GUI, and automation tools to deploy changes efficiently and accurately.
