## About the Role

* Diploma, degree, or certificate in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
 * At least one to three years of relevant IT support, systems, network, or help desk experience
 * Proficiency in networking technologies, network security, and network monitoring solutions
 * Knowledge of security systems including antivirus applications, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems, and intrusion detection and notification systems
 * In-depth knowledge of security protocols and principles
 * Strong work ethic, a constructive can-do approach, critical-thinking skills, and the ability to solve complex problems

Preferred:

 * Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows servers, virtual machines, and backup systems
 * Experience working with an IT Service Desk or help desk ticketing platform
 * Familiarity with Epicor ERP or another enterprise resource planning system
 * Experience supporting NAS storage, file-sharing systems, and Microsoft SharePoint
 * Onsite IT support experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, or regulated environment

## Description

The Junior IT Support team member provides first-level onsite technical support and helps maintain reliable, secure technology services across Gold Tech Industries' Arizona operations. This role responds to employee incidents and service requests, supports local systems and infrastructure, maintains technical documentation, and assists with technology projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, technically curious, and able to troubleshoot problems methodically in a fast-paced manufacturing environment., * Provide first-level onsite IT support and respond promptly to user incidents and service requests

 * Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows, servers, virtual machines, file backup, and other IT systems
 * Manage, monitor, and maintain local IT systems and infrastructure to ensure availability and reliability
 * Maintain and update GTI Arizona IT processes, procedures, and technical documentation
 * Support network operations and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP and wireless networks
 * Support security, backup, and redundancy activities
 * Use the IT Service Desk ticketing system to document, track, and resolve incidents and service requests
 * Providing basic ERP support; knowledge or experience with Epicor ERP is an advantage
 * Support NAS storage, file-sharing systems, and Microsoft SharePoint
 * Perform IT asset management and technology lifecycle activities
 * Assist with infrastructure projects and other business-related technology requirements as needed
 * Communicate technical information clearly and collaborate with employees, vendors, and other members of the IT team
