These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: * Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years, * Experience designing, building, testing, and supporting production software or software-based services. * Experience with distributed systems, cloud services, developer platforms, data-intensive systems, or software engineering infrastructure. * Experience contributing to technical designs and delivering software features or components through the complete development lifecycle. * Ability to work independently in highly ambiguous scenarios. * Experience with AI assisted software development. * Experience with large language models, agentic systems, retrieval systems, or code-generation technologies. * Experience with static analysis, code indexing, semantic search, repository intelligence, source-control platforms, CI/CD systems, or software validation. * Experience building or operating reliable, data pipelines, developer tools, or engineering productivity systems. * Experience using telemetry, testing, evaluation methods, or operational metrics to improve software quality and system reliability. Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.
