* High School Diploma/GED or formal education equivalent.
 * 2 years of lab experience.
 * Ability to follow oral instruction, read and write.
 * Computer/basic keyboard skills.
 * Telephone etiquette skills.
 * Must have excellent customer service skills., * 2+ years of clinical lab experience

## Description

into EPIC. This positions schedule could change due to staffing issues with a two weeks notice. This position will perform other duties as assigned., * Assure that all tasks are completed for shift.

 * Assign tasks as needed.
 * Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
 * Address all patient/specimen problems as needed.
 * Consult with the Laboratory Supervisor or Pathologist for guidance when handling problem situations. Fill out all Safety Intelligence reports and deliver to the Core Lab Manager.
 * Communicate all pertinent information to the oncoming senior tech and Supervisor.
 * Assist with training new LSTs including signing off on competencies.
 * This position is required to work a fluid schedule when needed.
