The customer's environment is used for day-to-day internal business, interfacing with external stakeholders, performing software development, and many other critical business functions. A strong focus on system availability is critical, as is a strong sense of urgency in reacting to any system outages or degradations. The team includes server engineers, storage engineers, backup engineers, virtualization engineers, database engineers, security engineers, and systems administrators. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interface with customers and team members. Strong technical backgrounds in a wide breadth of areas will help make this person successful; some key technologies include Microsoft Windows, RedHat Linux, OpenShift, Kubernetes, .Net, Pega, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Amazon Web Services, and Azure.
