## About the Role

* Associate's degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
 * 1-3 years of experience in administrative, academic operations, scheduling, student services or a similar role.
 * Experience in a college, career school, trade school or post-secondary environment is a plus.
 * Experience with Google Workspace, Google Classroom and Zoom.
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
 * Experience with Anthology or another student information system is preferred.
 * Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
 * Comfortable supporting non-technical users with patience and professionalism.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced school environment.
 * Ability to work effectively with a diverse student and staff population.

## Description

Apex Technical School is seeking an Education Tech Support professional to support the day-to-day technology and academic operations of our Long Island City campus. This position ensures that classes, student rosters, schedules, Google Classrooms and Zoom sessions are set up accurately and ready for students and instructors.

You will work closely with instructors, Department Heads, Academic leadership and IT to resolve access issues, maintain accurate student and class information, and ensure a smooth technology experience throughout the student lifecycle.

What You'll Do

 * Create and maintain Google Classroom sections, templates and course materials.
 * Add and remove students and instructors from classes and ensure proper access.
 * Set up and manage Zoom classes, recurring meetings and access information.
 * Maintain class calendars, schedules, rosters and student assignments.
 * Process class and segment changes as students transfer, progress, return or leave programs.
 * Identify and resolve discrepancies between class rosters, schedules and student records.
 * Serve as the first point of contact for student and instructor technology/access issues, escalating issues to IT when needed.
 * Submit and track technology/account requests with the IT department.
 * Provide basic training and support to instructors using Google Classroom and Zoom.
 * Assist with the transition to and ongoing use of the Anthology student information system.
 * Create and maintain procedures and user guides for classroom technology and academic processes.
 * Provide enrollment, scheduling and class-related reports as needed.
 * Support academic accreditation and licensing requirements related to student and class records.
