## About the Role

* 5+ years of industrial controls and automation experience
 * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering science plus 5+ years of relevant controls experience, OR 10+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree.
 * 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work (request for proposals, bidding, change orders, quality control, RFI/submittal tracking) associated with construction and project execution experience, * Experience with Industrial control systems, both hardware and software
 * Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, or MS degree
 * Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls or Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, software and networks.
 * Experiencing using common industrial communication protocols (MQTT, BACnet and/or MODBUS).
 * Demonstrated understanding of engineering documentation, electrical and mechanical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
 * Ability to manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigate difficult situations.
 * Experience designing data centers or critical MEP infrastructure
 * Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE), or certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

## Description

* Support and work in the department as required

 * Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers

 * Providing vacation coverage for Area Managers

 * Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)

 * Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hours

 * Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance

 * Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance

 * Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity

 * Filling in as needed with production duties

 * Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals

 * Reviewing and updating SOP as required

 * Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized

 * Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area

 * Coaching associates to work safely at all times

 * Participating in safety initiatives
