## About the Role

* Must currently reside in the US.
 * Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
 * Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology major (Or equivalent work experience)
 * Minimum of 5 or more years of Software Testing experience
 * Experience creating test cases and executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
 * Experience with defect tracking, test evidence, requirements traceability, and Agile delivery.

Preferred Skills/Experience: The experience listed below are preferred for this job

 * Experience with healthcare, pharmacy, medication-management, mental health, or other clinical application workflows.
 * Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs, federal health IT, or other regulated healthcare programs.
 * Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Microsoft 365, and collaborative Agile delivery tools.
 * Experience with VistA patch development and release processes, InterSystems IRIS, MUMPS, or VA Pharmacy applications., * Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

 * Manual Testing: 5 years (Required)
 * Federal Health IT or healthcare, pharmacy, etc.: 1 year (Preferred)
 * VistA patch development and release: 1 year (Preferred)

## Description

Below are some of the responsibilities the Manual Tester may be expected to assume in their position:

 * Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and traceability for functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
 * Validate requirements and acceptance criteria across supported applications, interfaces, data, roles, and workflows.
 * Record, triage, retest, and close defects with clear evidence, severity, impact, and reproducible steps.
 * Collaborate with analysts, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to improve quality throughout the SDLC.
 * Report test progress, risks, coverage, and release readiness using objective evidence.
