## About the Role

* 5-7+ years of relevant Workday/enterprise application experience.
 * Bachelor's degree
 * Strong hands-on Workday configuration expertise in Payroll.
 * Workday implementation, optimization, or major system initiative experience.
 * Strong business analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
 * Healthcare or higher education experience
 * Workday certifications are valued, but hands-on configuration and implementation experience is the priority.

## Description

* Configure, test, implement, and optimize Workday functionality.
 * Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations and processes.
 * Support implementation, testing, data validation, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
 * Troubleshoot complex configuration and production issues.
 * Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, IT, and business stakeholders.
 * Support Workday releases, enhancements, and ongoing production needs.
 * Deep hands-on Workday Payroll configuration and implementation experience.
 * Pay groups, calendars, earnings, deductions, payroll taxes, and tax jurisdictions.
 * Payroll accounting and GL mapping.
 * Retroactive and off-cycle payroll.
 * Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits touchpoints.
 * Parallel payroll testing, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live.
 * EIBs and payroll-related data conversion.
 * Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
