Database & Querying: Experience developing simple to intermediate queries for relational and non-relational database applications or data repositories. Version Control & Agile Workflow: Familiarity with source code control systems (such as Git), Agile development methodologies, and collaboration tools (e.g., Atlassian Jira/Confluence). Debugging & Testing: Ability to analyze user requirements, debug existing software, correct defects, and execute test procedures for software components. Integration & Architecture: Understanding of system-level vs. component-level requirements, hardware/software trade-offs, and integrating software components with OSS, COTS, or GOTS solutions. Configuration Management: Working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) tools and Web Services implementation. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, PLUS 2+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience OR Master's Degree in a related field, PLUS 0+ years of specialized analytical experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 6+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree. , Desired Skills Containerization & CI/CD: Exposure to container technologies (e.g., Docker) and continuous integration practices. Orchestration & Event-Driven Systems: Familiarity with event-driven or data-driven analytics, queue management systems, or frameworks like Spring and Kafka.
