You'll spend approximately 15-25% of your time client-facing on average across a year, with bursts to 40-50% during high-stakes windows like cutover (when a client's systems go live on our platform) or bank-audit windows (when a banking client is under regulatory examination and needs hands-on engineering support). What You'll Do * Build integrations that scale across custodians - the institutions that hold and safeguard a client's assets - designing connective tissue between Wealth's platform and custodian systems that is reusable across your whole client base rather than one-off per client. * Apply deep security and systems expertise to integrations with external financial institutions, reasoning carefully about what is secure and what isn't. * Operate with calm precision in regulated and adversarial technical rooms - bank compliance reviews, security audits, and other high-scrutiny environments where things can get tense and mistakes are expensive. * Maintain operational rigor around deployment, credential and key rotation, and incident response - the unglamorous but critical ops discipline that keeps a live financial integration from breaking silently. * Embed with clients during peak deployment windows to ensure our platform works reliably in their production environment.
