 * Proven track record building and operating production-grade enterprise software. Deep understanding of application and distributed system design and architecture patterns.
 * Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows and the judgment to critically evaluate AI-generated code against production quality standards.
 * Proficiency in C#/.NET, Java, Go or comparable languages, AWS, Docker/ECS/EKS), CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and relational database design.
 * A history of influencing engineers through pairing, feedback, and driving technical excellence among your team.
 * A strong sense of ownership and the communication skills to drive outcomes across technical and non-technical partners.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience., * Experience with React.js or other popular frontend frameworks.
 * Familiarity with event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS).
 * Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or infrastructure-as-code practices.
 * Curiosity about or knowledge of Wizards brands.

## Description

* Design and develop services and applications on AWS that are core to our product creation platform.
 * Influence and champion and engineering standards across the org, resulting in effective system design at both the application and service level.
 * Leverage and enhance our AI-assisted development tooling continuously improving the practices, review standards, and quality gates that keep AI-accelerated delivery reliable and maintainable.
 * Own technical decisions end-to-end: assess tradeoffs, align partners, drive execution, and follow through without waiting to be asked.
 * Translate business challenges into well-designed, scalable software solutions in partnership with product owners and cross-functional partners.
 * Influence and build up your teammates through technical direction, and code and design reviews, supporting their growth and career development.
