## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience in Mainframe application development.
 * Strong hands-on experience with COBOL programming in Mainframe environments.
 * Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting fundamentals.
 * Experience with ACI Money Transfer System (MTS) or similar payment processing platforms.
 * Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and release management processes.

## Description

* Identify application changes and develop solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
 * Perform coding, unit testing, and quality validation of developed enhancements and fixes.
 * Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect analysis and resolution.
 * Execute production deployments, validate post-release changes, and support rollout activities.
 * Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and process documentation.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and status meetings.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
