## Description

* Build, manage, and mentor a globally distributed engineering team, creating an environment where team members can thrive and advance their careers.
 * Hire, onboard, and develop engineers while maintaining high standards for quality, accountability, and psychological safety.
 * Partner with product management, product design, and cross-functional engineering teams to align technical direction, shape roadmaps, and deliver against commitments.
 * Guide engineers on system architecture, code quality, performance, security, and maintainability across frontend and backend disciplines.
 * Manage and refine agile, remote, and asynchronous workflows, maintaining delivery cadence and addressing blockers, backlogs, or delayed execution early.
 * Encourage and integrate AI capabilities and modern developer tooling into daily workflows to improve productivity, innovation, and efficiency.
 * Conduct regular one-on-ones, provide continuous, actionable feedback, and support career progression through coaching and skill development.
 * Maintain visibility into operational health and reliability, participating in system availability and incident management rotations as needed.
