## About the Role

We are seeking a Python Developer, Market Risk Technology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and relational databases (DB2, Sybase, Oracle) and a proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable risk technology solutions in an Agile environment., * Proficiency in Python with hands-on object-oriented programming. Java experience is a plus.

 * Good understanding of design patterns and engineering best practices.
 * Proven database development experience with DB2, Sybase, and Oracle.
 * Experience delivering in high-pressure environments within a financial institution.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication and collaboration.
 * Self-motivated with the ability to initiate projects and drive to completion.
 * 5+ years of applicable software development experience.

Preferred Skills:

 * Experience with Quartz.
 * Market risk or investment banking product knowledge.
 * Prior work in Agile/Scrum teams.

* Design, develop, and maintain Python services and components for market risk platforms.
