* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

 * Experience with Python and SQL.
 * Experience with data warehousing, data quality, and ETL.
 * Strong Excel/data processing skills.
 * Experience with financial and techno-economic modeling.
 * Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills., * Experience with Power BI or other BI platforms.
 * Utility, transmission/distribution planning, or power systems experience.
 * Experience with DERs, grid modeling, or power flow tools.
 * Knowledge of California utility regulations and energy markets.
 * Experience with project/program management.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to support strategy, data analysis, and valuation of flexible load resources and Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). The role will collaborate with utility planning, engineering, and strategy teams to develop analytical models, evaluate grid solutions, and provide data-driven recommendations., * Analyze data and develop financial and techno-economic models.

 * Support DER valuation, load management, and grid planning initiatives.
 * Develop forecasts, dashboards, visualizations, and executive-ready reports.
 * Gather and manage market, financial, regulatory, and industry data.
 * Perform benchmarking and cost-effectiveness analyses.
 * Collaborate with planning, engineering, vendors, and industry partners.
 * Support project planning, tool deployment, and stakeholder communications.
 * Translate complex analysis into actionable business recommendations.
