## Description

Reporting to the Director of Platform Operations, this is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and managing a secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure estate across cloud and hosted environments. You'll lead a team of Cloud and Infrastructure Engineers, driving platform reliability, governance, and operational excellence while working closely with Security, SRE, Platform Engineering, and Finance teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically credible leader who enjoys balancing strategic direction with hands-on operational oversight in a complex, multi-environment technology landscape.

What you'll do

 * Define and deliver ClearCourse's hosting and cloud infrastructure strategy
 * Lead and develop a team of Cloud and Infrastructure Engineers
 * Oversee the design, provisioning, and management of cloud and hosted environments
 * Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards and cloud architecture best practices across the Group
 * Ensure infrastructure environments are secure, resilient, and highly available
 * Partner with Security teams to maintain robust access controls, logging, and compliance standards
 * Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning
 * Collaborate with Platform Engineering to support CI/CD infrastructure requirements
 * Manage cloud spend, optimisation initiatives, and FinOps activities alongside Finance teamsEnsure effective monitoring and operational governance across the infrastructure estate
