## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field
 * 0-2 years of experience in analytics, BI, or data modeling
 * Coursework or experience in data modeling and statistics
 * Experience with Git and version control workflows preferred
 * Healthcare data experience preferred
 * Proficiency in SQL and basic familiarity with dbt
 * Exposure to cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
 * Familiarity with BI modeling fundamentals

## Description

The Analytics Engineering Analyst will support the transformation of raw data into analytics-ready datasets. This role owns well-scoped tasks, follows established standards, and contributes to model documentation and data quality within the silver layer of the medallion architecture.

This is a Full Time, hybrid, Analytics Engineering Analyst role located in Brentwood, TN.

What You'll Do

 * Data Modeling & Development
 * Own well-scoped modeling tasks following team standards
 * Write SQL and basic dbt models and tests
 * Contribute to BI modeling and semantic layer development
 * Follow best programming practices, writing clean and documented code
 * Documentation & Quality
 * Create model READMEs and documentation with clear caveats
 * Support data quality checks and validation
 * Maintain lineage and catalog entries as directed
 * Collaboration
 * Work with senior team members to understand requirements and map metrics to business questions
 * Receive and respond to feedback in a professional manner
 * Use basic features of version control software (Git)
