The position is responsible for complex network environments and provides technical guidance for modernization, resiliency, security, and performance initiatives. The person in this role also serves as the top technical escalation point for network issues., * Design and lead implementation of enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN/data center) * Lead complex network projects, including migrations, redesigns, and capacity expansions * Serve as the highest-level technical escalation for critical network outages * Establish network standards, configuration baselines, and best practices * Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and vendors * Mentor mid-level network engineers and review their designs and configurations * Partner with security and infrastructure teams on network segmentation and zero-trust initiatives, * This position is onsite at the customer location in Washington, DC. The environment requires onsite support five days per week, with some flexibility in scheduling based on program and customer requirements.
