## About the Role

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience., Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required., * Experience integrating containerized software applications in Kubernetes or another container runtime such as Docker Swarm.

 * Skilled in development of bash and python scripts to automate installation, test, and monitoring of software components
 * Advanced troubleshooting techniques for isolation of software problems
 * Experience with integration testing for deploying and managing custom containerized applications and open-source tools and components.

Desired Capabilities:

 * Experience with Ansible infrastructure-as-code.
 * Experience with Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
 * Red Hat System Administrator/Engineer certification.

## Description

The Advanced Software Engineer - Submarine Combat Systems, will be responsible for integration of software components into the Linux-based Common Computing Environment (CCE) PaaS. The candidate will also be responsible for improving the software build process along with setup and configuration of hardware/software test environments.
