Strong background in application containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). * Proficiency in modern development frameworks and languages (Java, .NET, Node.js, Spring, Angular, React, JSON, etc.). * Experience working with large datasets, data migration strategies, and modernization-aligned analytics workflows. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience helping federal customers adopt cloud-native architectures and services (AWS, Azure, container-based microservices, REST APIs). * Demonstrated ability to onboard teams into modern DevSecOps pipelines and accelerate adoption of automation practices. * Experience scaling high-performance engineering solutions for structured and unstructured data. * Strong communication skills and confidence engaging directly with customer stakeholders at all levels. ## Description We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Automation Solution Architect to support a large-scale, multi-year Mainframe Modernization initiative for a major federal customer. In this customer-facing role, you will partner directly with the client's technical and business stakeholders to design and implement modern engineering, automation, and delivery practices that accelerate their transformation from legacy mainframe systems to secure, cloud-native platforms. As a key member of the modernization program's architecture team, reporting to the Chief Architect, you will help shape the technical roadmap, lead solution development, and guide engineering teams through modern DevSecOps approaches that ensure reliability, security, and scalability throughout the transformation journey.
