You guide how analytic tools are built, tested, and adopted, with a firm standard for responsible, auditable use in intelligence workflows. Why this role: Functional Leads set the standard for their discipline across the whole program, not just one team. You mentor practitioners across multiple DIA centers, shape how the program hires and trains, and grow along a defined leadership path. Position is contingent upon contract award. Work Schedule: M-F 8 hours/day Essential Responsibilities: * Lead data scientists, data engineers, and computer scientists across supported centers as the program's senior technical authority * Set standards for responsible, auditable AI and analytics in intelligence workflows * Guide analytic tools from pilot through evaluation and deployment in accredited development environments * Mentor technical practitioners and develop training that helps analysts use AI tools effectively and responsibly * Coordinate with government technical leads and partner teams; serve on hiring panels, Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
