## Description

Support COBOL programming requests and application interfaces on IBM Power 9 iSeries and IBM Mainframe systems. Engage in COBOL application development, database management, and system support, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency., * Develop, maintain, and update COBOL applications, including JCL and CICS components.

 * Support and enhance applications utilizing IBM SQL/DS, ADABAS databases, and VSAM file structures.
 * Design and implement interfaces between mainframe systems and external agencies, including data transfers via SFTP and FTP.
 * Assist EOC operators with runtime errors, troubleshooting, and resolving programming issues.
 * Generate operational, status, and user-specific reports based on system data.
 * Leverage IBM utilities such as Syncsort and MacKinney Systems to optimize system performance.
 * Document application processes, interfaces, and database configurations to ensure comprehensive technical records.
 * Support migration efforts aimed at modernizing legacy applications and systems.
