## About the Role

* 4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Software Engineer.
 * Strong experience with JVM technologies, ideally Kotlin and its ecosystem.
 * Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Experience with, or interest in, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
 * Familiarity with GitOps practices and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
 * Experience working with cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
 * Knowledge of API integration and management.
 * Ability to thrive in international teams and collaborative environments.
 * Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
 * English proficiency sufficient to work effectively in a global environment.

## Description

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer (Kotlin) to join the global Loyalty Development team, responsible for building and evolving products related to Loyalty & Customer Data.
You will be involved in designing and developing scalable, cloud-native solutions that deliver personalized customer experiences across different channels and touchpoints.
Your main responsibilities will include:

 * Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Kotlin.
 * Building and managing scalable infrastructure with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
 * Working in GitOps environments using Flux.
 * Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
 * Working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery, GKE, and PubSub.
 * Integrating APIs and ensuring code quality through automated testing using Kotest and Testcontainers.
 * Collaborating actively within agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
 * Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes, architecture, and engineering best practices.
