We're looking for a Metallographic Technician to join our laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys practical work, and wants to develop their skills in metallography and materials characterisation., * High school diploma or equivalent

 * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
 * Good problem-solving and organisational skills
 * Ability to follow detailed procedures
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 * Basic computer skills

Experience in metallographic sample preparation or training in metallurgy/materials science would be advantageous, but not essential.

## Description

As a Metallographic Technician, you'll prepare and evaluate material samples for microscopic examination, ensuring high-quality results for customers and internal projects., * Preparing and sectioning metal and material samples

 * Mounting, grinding, polishing and etching samples
 * Performing routine metallographic evaluations
 * Recording test data and observations accurately
 * Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
 * Supporting investigations and materials analysis projects
 * Maintaining laboratory quality, safety and housekeeping standards
 * Contributing to continuous improvement activities
