## About the Role

Position Summary: Responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of multiple legacy system migrations to a more modern Policy Administration System. Uses project management skills to manage project team, identify resource requirements, define project deliverables and meet the business needs of the customer or owner. Serve as liaison between the business areas, management and systems groups. Ensures effective communication and relationships between owner and project team are maintained. May be asked to manage other corporate projects., * Insurance experience

 * Bachelor's degree, Project Management Certification, or equivalent job experience
 * Prior experience with policy administration system migrations
 * Prior experience managing software development life cycle
 * Prior experience working with defect tracking/managing tool (Jira)
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * Excellent organizational skills
 * Participate in working sessions with cross-functional resources
 * Ability to work independently

## Description

May work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each piece of the project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support., * Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder/business owner requirements to project team members and manage all requirements accordingly.

 * Establishes ownership for project tasks, ensures team members have necessary tools and resources, and provides timely feedback.
 * Develop a written project plan, including target dates and resources. The project plan will be used to track and review project tasks to make sure deadlines are met.
 * Develops RACI that will clarify roles and responsibilities (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed).
 * Develops and maintains all artifacts appropriate to the management of the project, including but not limited to Risk Matrix, Decision Log, and Communication Plan. Conduct regular status meetings with or provide status reports to all stakeholders/owners.
 * Minimize disruptions and ensure data integrity and business continuity throughout the conversion.
 * Assess project issues and identify solutions and/or escalate the problem to management as needed.
 * Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives, securing client acceptance and sign off with each project.
