## About the Role

Are you passionate about geospatial technology and spatial data analysis? We are seeking a GIS Technician to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality mapping, data management, and spatial analysis services. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects while developing your technical expertise in a collaborative and innovative environment.
This role requires an office presence 3 days per week, 2 days from home, * Experience using GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, or QGIS.

 * Understanding of GIS principles, spatial data management, and cartography.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
 * Effective communication and organisational skills.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

## Description

* Create, maintain, and update GIS databases and spatial datasets.
 * Produce accurate maps, plans, reports, and visualisations for a range of stakeholders.
 * Carry out spatial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
 * Collect, process, and validate geographic and asset-related information.
 * Perform data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of GIS information.
 * Integrate data from various sources, including GPS, CAD, survey, and asset management systems.
 * Provide GIS technical support and respond to user queries.
 * Assist with the development and improvement of GIS processes and workflows.
 * Support project teams with mapping and geospatial information requirements.
