## About the Role

* 5-10+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Sever design/implementation/maintenance
 * Experience with both Azure SQL and SQL Server a must (Cosmo DB a plus)
 * Creation/configuration/administration of SQL Servers in a virtual environment
 * Experience with Database migration from SQL Server VM's to Azure
 * Management of large and growing databases (TB+)
 * Experience with Monitoring, performance tuning, SQL Server indexing and D/R strategies, etc.

We are looking for a strong resources on this one that can work independently as well as collaboratively, hands-on implementation required, design/architect/lead skills a plus.
