## About the Role

AmeriSave is currently hiring a Help Desk professional to join our IT team. The ideal candidate is someone who is driven and passionate about playing a key role in our company's growth. Candidates must be detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills., * Bachelor's degree preferred; some college coursework required

 * Working knowledge of Windows 11
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 suite
 * Ability to assist others with complex issues in a professional manner
 * Learning and initiative skills
 * Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
 * Attention to detail
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * High-speed internet required for remote work, Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet. Minimum speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use).

## Description

* Provide tier 1 level technical and procedural assistance via phone, email and chat
 * Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
 * Research issues using available information resources
 * Implement issue resolution and/or advise user on appropriate action
 * Follow standard help desk procedures
 * Log all help desk interactions
 * Redirect problems to tier 2 and tier 3 level support as required
 * Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
 * Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
 * Stay current with system information, changes and updates
 * Assist senior IT staff as needed
