Home services, construction, automotive, healthcare, multi-location services or another high-volume lead-generation business is strongly preferred. ## Description This company is an established residential home-services company preparing to grow from eight figure to a nine figure company. The company currently invests approximately $ a few million annually in marketing and has internal employees supporting coordination, content, video, testimonials, clothing and technology assets. also works with outside marketing partners. The company needs one accountable internal leader who can: * Own marketing strategy and execution. * Manage the people and partners doing the work. * Understand paid advertising deeply enough to evaluate performance. * Improve reporting from lead source through sold and installed revenue. * Build useful CRM workflows and automations. * Map and simplify processes across marketing, sales and customer service. * Reduce the CEO's involvement in daily marketing execution. This person will function like a hands-on marketing executive with strong technology and automation capability. They do not need a CMO or CTO title. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing leadership * Build and own the annual marketing plan. * Translate company revenue goals into lead, appointment and marketing requirements. * Establish monthly and seasonal channel budgets. * Lead the internal marketing coordinator and content/video team. * Establish weekly priorities, deadlines and measurable expectations. * Manage advertising agencies, freelancers, media partners and vendors. * Review performance and hold outside partners accountable. * Coordinate marketing with sales capacity and installation capacity. * Bring leadership clear recommendations instead of presenting raw information. * Ensure approved projects are completed without continuous CEO involvement., * Oversee Facebook and Instagram advertising. * Oversee Google Search, Display, YouTube and Local Services advertising where appropriate. * Review campaign structure, targeting, keywords, audiences, creative, landing pages and conversion tracking. * Understand retargeting, lookalike audiences, negative keywords and geographic targeting. * Evaluate cost per lead, cost per qualified opportunity, appointment cost and customer acquisition cost. * Separate lead volume from actual lead quality. * Create an organized testing calendar for offers, creative, audiences and landing pages. * Make informed decisions about when to increase, reduce, improve or stop spending. * Audit agency reports and validate that claimed results match CRM and financial data. CRM and attribution Melo Roofing uses HubSpot and other home-services software. This person must be comfortable working directly inside a CRM. Responsibilities include: * Maintain accurate lead-source and campaign tracking. * Improve contact, lead, opportunity and customer lifecycle stages. * Create and maintain CRM properties, lists, pipelines and dashboards. * Build workflows for lead routing, internal notifications, follow-up and reactivation. * Connect marketing activity with appointments, sales, installed revenue and collected revenue. * Improve offline conversion and revenue feedback to advertising platforms. * Identify duplicate records, broken fields and unreliable source attribution. * Work with sales, customer service and finance to establish dependable reporting. * Document how data enters, moves through and exits the system. Automation and technology This is not a traditional IT support position. The technology responsibility centers on business systems, integrations and automation. The director will: * Audit repetitive marketing, sales and customer-service tasks. * Identify practical opportunities for automation. * Build workflows using HubSpot and tools such as Zapier, Make or comparable platforms. * Connect forms, call tracking, scheduling, email, SMS, CRM and reporting systems. * Test workflows before launch and monitor them afterward. * Document triggers, actions, owners and failure notifications. * Evaluate software based on business need, cost, adoption and integration capability. * Lead implementation projects with internal users and outside technical partners. * Prevent overlapping tools and unnecessary subscriptions. * Ensure the company owns its accounts, data, documentation and administrative access. * Create simple training and operating instructions for employees. FIRST 90 DAYS First 30 days * Audit the marketing budget, agencies, campaigns, team responsibilities and technology stack. * Review HubSpot structure, tracking and current automations. * Document the lead-to-revenue process. * Establish a dependable weekly marketing scorecard. * Identify urgent tracking, spending and ownership problems.
