## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
 * Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in telecommunications, network management, or IT systems administration, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
 * Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

## Description

* Manage the 24-hour operation, reliability, performance, and availability of the county's Enterprise Voice and Unified Communications environment, including voice infrastructure, SIP trunking, call routing, disaster recovery, QoS, inventories, and documentation.
 * Manages personnel in performance of job duties and responsibilities.
 * Develops, manages, reviews and coordinates all County departments' specifications for telecommunications systems including the bidding and purchasing of these systems.
 * Oversee contracts, SLAs, renewals, and performance with platform vendors, carriers, and integrators.
 * Prepares, maintains and monitors yearly budget for Telecommunications Division, including the County's telecommunications systems, and projects recommended changes.
