This role involves building and maintaining ETL workflows, ingesting data from diverse source systems, and optimizing performance across large-scale data pipelines. The ideal candidate brings strong Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle SQL/PL-SQL expertise, along with hands-on Snowflake experience, and is comfortable collaborating with business and technical stakeholders in structured SDLC environments., * 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer/Systems Analyst designing, developing, and supporting data integration solutions in an enterprise environment. * 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. * 8+ years of experience ingesting data from multiple heterogeneous source systems into Oracle databases. * 8+ years of strong working knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, including stored procedures, packages, and performance tuning. * 8+ years of experience with Snowflake, including data loading, schema design, and query performance optimization. * 8+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter/Informatica Cloud Data Integration for cloud-based ETL/ELT development. * 8+ years of experience gathering data requirements, performing source-to-target mapping, and documenting data flow/design specifications. * 8+ years of experience troubleshooting data quality issues, job failures, and performance bottlenecks in production ETL pipelines. * 8+ years of experience with job scheduling/orchestration tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, or Informatica scheduler) supporting batch data loads. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with SAP Business Objects Universe design and/or maintenance. * Experience working in a state government or large enterprise IT environment, following formal SDLC and change management processes., * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to data engineering. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging business and technical stakeholders. * Comfortable working within structured SDLC environments and formal change management processes. * Strong troubleshooting mindset for production support and performance optimization. * Collaborative and adaptable, able to work effectively across business and technical teams. ## Description ETL Development & Data Integration * Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, including mappings, sessions, workflows, and reusable transformations. * Ingest data from multiple heterogeneous source systems, including flat files, APIs, relational databases, and mainframe extracts, into Oracle databases. * Develop and support cloud-based ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica Cloud Data Integration. Database & Performance Optimization * Write and optimize Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, including stored procedures, packages, and performance tuning of ETL-related queries. * Load data into Snowflake and support schema design and query performance optimization. * Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, job failures, and performance bottlenecks in production ETL pipelines. Requirements & Design Documentation * Gather data requirements and perform source-to-target mapping. * Document data flow and design specifications. * Analyze user requirements and operational procedures to identify opportunities for automation or system improvement.
