Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a member of Fleet Management at Google, you will develop relationships, both internally and externally, and connect with internal customers and partner teams to develop an understanding of their business requirements and goals. Responsibilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Site Reliability Engineering, Third-Party Data Centers) on network architecture and provide valuable feedback on the physical data center environment. * Be a globally recognized technical leader and subject matter expert on data center networking infrastructure with knowledge of data center processes, infrastructure, design, construction, and safety. * Develop a unified global network program process and prioritization to create agility to accommodate shift-left priority to enable an engaged advantage for Google. * Ensure GSO is an asset across all Google-required network infrastructure, focusing on network capacity in support of the end customer. * Enable network capability and acceleration in support of ML (Net GT, MLNDA, Vermilion, etc.) and next gen network deployment and maintenance.
