This position's expected total compensation (base salary) is $96,300.00-$149,100.00 ## Description The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, administering, and supporting secure network infrastructure across multiple facilities and remote locations. This hands-on role supports a diverse, multi-vendor environment and requires strong troubleshooting skills, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will help maintain network availability, security, performance, and operational resilience in a compliance-driven environment., Network Operations & Administration * Manage and maintain a multi-vendor network environment, including SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco, Ruckus, and Loadbalancer.org technologies. * Administer and troubleshoot 100+ VPN endpoints to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across remote locations. * Support customer-managed networks, including Layer 2 point-to-point circuits, routing, switching, and integrated network services. * Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and support planned maintenance. * Monitor network availability and performance, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to maintain service reliability. Hardware Deployment & On-Site Support * Install, rack, cable, configure, and deploy network equipment, VPN appliances, and related infrastructure. * Provide on-site support for air-gapped networks in compliance with security and operational requirements. * Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation and respond to urgent network or facility needs. Disaster Recovery & Continuity * Support disaster recovery infrastructure through maintenance, testing, validation, and incident response. * Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery planning to strengthen resilience and recovery readiness. * Travel to remote facilities and recovery sites as business needs require. Continuous Improvement * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to network security, reliability, performance, and operational efficiency. * Create and maintain network diagrams, configurations, procedures, and technical documentation. * Partner with technical teams, customers, vendors, and business stakeholders to plan and implement network solutions.
