The Mechanical Engineer will develop product documentation and technical specifications, test products, and support organizational compliance with testing and certifying organizations, including completing and documenting analytical stress analyses. Daily Responsibilities: * Research and identify the mechanics, performance, and functional requirements of the product to assure adequacy for the intended function for the customer * Partner with Purchasing and Production departments to create design improvements that support reduction in costs and improve quality and performance * Conceptualize, conceive, plan design and model building, computer stimulation, testing, costing, and customer acceptance activity with each objective * Coordinate material cost optimization between Engineering and Production * Provide customer service support on engineering related items * Resolve Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), by investigating the problem to implement and document the appropriate changes
