## About the Role

* 8+ years of experience in Java development with strong knowledge of Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming, Collections, Concurrency, and Exception Handling.
 * Hands-on experience with Java frameworks including Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and RESTful API development.
 * Strong database expertise with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL, and development of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
 * Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and software debugging/troubleshooting.
 * Familiarity with AWS services, OpenShift/Kubernetes, container technologies, microservices architecture, messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and CI/CD pipelines.

## Description

* Develop, customize, and maintain open-source software (OSS) components and create containerized deployments using OpenShift (OCP) and internal deployment tools.
 * Design, develop, and support Java-based applications and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
 * Build and maintain database solutions, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and performance optimization across multiple database platforms.
 * Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and cloud teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and AWS-based solutions.
 * Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and mentor team members on software development best practices.
