## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Core Lending Application Engineer to join our IT Core Lending team in Hauppauge, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong application development background with experience in banking or lending platforms., * 8-10 years of application development or software engineering experience.

 * Strong programming experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, and Linux Shell scripting.
 * Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP, web services, and system integrations.
 * Strong SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle.
 * Experience working with NoSQL databases.
 * Experience developing or supporting Power BI dashboards.
 * Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams., * Experience with Fiserv Loan Director / Velocity.
 * Knowledge of core banking and lending systems.
 * Experience with Temenos Collections.
 * Knowledge or experience with Fiserv DNA.
 * Previous experience supporting applications within the banking or financial services industry.

Work Location

Hauppauge, NY - Onsite

Candidates should be comfortable working onsite and should be able to commute or relocate to the Hauppauge, NY area.

## Description

* Develop, maintain, and enhance business capabilities within Fiserv Loan Director / Velocity.
 * Design and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and application performance.
 * Develop and support integrations using APIs, REST, SOAP, and web services.
 * Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective automation solutions.
 * Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues.
 * Work closely with technical teams, application owners, and business stakeholders.
 * Support lending and core banking applications in a production environment.
