## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
 * 5+ years of experience in backend assembly, manufacturing engineering, or related technical environments.
 * Strong experience with flip chip, wire bond, and SMT assembly processes.
 * 8+ years of backend assembly engineering experience.
 * Prior engineering leadership or people management experience.
 * Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
 * Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations.
 * Experience supporting global teams and customers.
 * Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is a plus.
 * Experience in technical sales support, customer engagement, or business development activities., * Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

 * Manufacturing engineering: 5 years (Required)
 * AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.: 1 year (Required)

## Description

* Lead or support engineering activities related to backend semiconductor assembly processes.
 * Evaluate assembly feasibility for customer designs in collaboration with customers, design teams, and substrate vendors.
 * Provide technical guidance on flip chip, wire bond, and SMT assembly technologies.
 * Support product development, design optimization, manufacturing readiness, and production quoting activities.
 * Review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and operations.
 * Assist with customer-facing technical discussions, design reviews, and project updates.
 * Drive process improvements and resolve engineering challenges impacting product performance and manufacturability.
 * Monitor project schedules, metrics, and deliverables to support business objectives.
 * Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership where applicable.
 * Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
