This role supports technical research, customer requirements definition, telecommunications inventory review, engineering documentation, provisioning support, solution evaluation, service transition, installation, activation, testing, cutover, and transition completion. The ideal candidate has experience supporting enterprise telecommunications or network services and can work directly with Government customers, DISA, DITCO, vendors, engineers, analysts, service providers, and transition-support teams to help move services from current-state research through successful transition. This opportunity may be especially relevant for candidates currently supporting the incumbent program or related DISA / DITCO telecommunications transition work, particularly where current contract continuity may be uncertain., * Research existing telecommunications inventories and customer network environments. * Work directly with customers to understand and document technical network requirements. * Assist customers in developing network Performance Work Statements and technical requirement documentation. * Support customer network requirements used in Fair Opportunity competitions. * Provide senior technical support throughout the customer network transition lifecycle. * Evaluate telecommunications configurations, provisioning approaches, and proposed technical solutions for feasibility. * Develop and recommend alternative technical solutions when needed. * Provide technical input for Performance Work Statements, Bid Models, technical evaluation plans, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, and other transition documentation. * Support preparation and technical quality review of Telecommunications Requests and provisioning documents. * Assist customers and the Transition Program Management Office in evaluating telecommunications technologies and service alternatives. * Coordinate technical activities among DISA, DITCO, customers, vendors, service providers, and engineering organizations. * Support installation, activation, testing, cutover, and transition planning. * Resolve technical issues affecting service dates or successful transition. * Verify that technical requirements are clear, correct, and complete before transition actions proceed. * Support transitioned services through activation, operational verification, and completion. * Maintain strong documentation, technical review discipline, and customer communication throughout the transition process., * Experience supporting incumbent transition, recompete, contract closeout, or continuity-of-operations activities. * Experience researching current-state telecommunications inventories and mapping services to future-state requirements. * Experience coordinating service installation, activation, testing, cutover, disconnect, and transition completion. * Experience identifying technical gaps, unclear requirements, feasibility issues, vendor constraints, and schedule-impacting engineering concerns. * Experience supporting Fair Opportunity competitions or federal telecommunications procurement activities. * Experience working directly with customers to convert operational needs into technical requirements and service documentation. * Ability to explain technical network and telecommunications issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
