This is a hands-on development role focused on Shopify Liquid, front-end development, responsive UI/UX, performance optimization, SEO, and Shopify app integrations. You'll work closely with the development and strategy teams while using modern AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency and quality. What You'll Own Shopify Development * Build, maintain, and continuously improve custom Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts. * Work across sectioned and non-sectioned themes using Shopify Liquid. * Write clean, production-ready code without relying on page builders. * Own development tasks from implementation through deployment. Front-End Development * Translate designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, mobile-first experiences. * Use advanced CSS, CSS animations, media queries, JavaScript, and jQuery. * Ensure consistent visual quality and functionality across browsers and devices. Shopify Apps & Integrations * Research and evaluate Shopify apps based on specific business requirements. * Install, configure, and manage Shopify app integrations. * Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues. Performance & SEO * Proactively identify and resolve website performance issues. * Optimize images, code, and front-end assets to improve site speed. * Build SEO-friendly pages and implement JSON schema and structured data where appropriate. AI-Assisted Development * Use tools such as Cursor, Claude, and similar AI platforms to accelerate development. * Apply AI tools thoughtfully to improve productivity and code quality. * Share useful AI workflows and techniques with the team.
