Additional years of experience are acceptable in lieu of bachelor's degree. · MCSA, Linux+ or RHSA preferred. · Must be able to pass a standard background check and FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and drug screen. · Valid Texas Class C Driver's License. ## Description This position is responsible for maintaining and administering the City's infrastructure physical and virtual servers. This includes the maintenance, patching and back-up/restore of hardware, software, and other related systems; performing disaster recovery operations; systems security compliance; and replacing hardware components as needed. Other duties include providing support to other departments and interacting with other City employees and citizens. This position has no supervisory responsibilities but may be tasked to provide technical instruction on specific topics.
