## About the Role

Sr. Data Analyst needs 5-7+ years hands-on experience working with SQL and a strong understanding of different data structures (flat files and DBMS), * 7+ years experience working as a BI analyst or data analyst leveraging BI tools in a centralized data warehouse environment

 * 3+ years experience with data modeling concepts and techniques
 * Experience working with Cognos v.8.x or higher or similar BI tool is a plus
 * Experience working with Teradata Data Warehouse or other DBMS is a plus
 * Heavy SQL
 * Source to Target Mapping
 * Requirements gathering, data modeling

 * Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 7 years of related professional experience
 * Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing, data mapping, and data conversion activities
 * Well versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle and methodologies
 * Certification in Data Management (CDMP) or Business Intelligence (CBIP) is a plus

## Description

* Validates that data integration, data movement, and warehouse meets requirements and service-level agreements
 * Works with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications
 * Act as the conduit between the customer and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood
 * Act in an advisory capacity in data model reviews, architecture approach and solution design to ensure high quality deliverables
